Property Stamping
The purpose of the property stamp is to prevent unauthorized removal of a library's property or to prove ownership in a court of law. Traditionally, books are stamped with a consistent and distinctive color ink and in a library-specific font. There is neither a limit to the number of times a stamp can be applied to a book, nor restrictions on ink color.
