Brodart is a 65-year old company devoted to serving the needs of the library market. Founded by the inventor of the plastic book cover, Brodart focuses its business solely on the needs of public, school and academic libraries. We do not sell to the retail market. No. Brodart is an industry pioneer in providing libraries with cataloging services. With over 90 catalogers on staff, many of them degreed professionals, Brodart performs all cataloging services in-house at our headquarters in Williamsport, PA.

Can Brodart supply my orders fully processed?
Brodart can provide the most basic processing to the most uniquely customized processing for each and every order you place. Processing with barcode labels, pocket labels, genre & collection labels, specialty labels, book pockets, theft detection strips, RFID tags and jackets are a sampling of the processing services available at Brodart. In addition, Brodart offers Duralam and Duraguard paperback conversion services.

How can I track the status of an order?
Your customer service representative can provide an up-to-date status report on each and every order you submit. Your ship-to account number and purchase order number is all you need to determine the status of your order. Or, you may e-mail support@brodart.com and include your name, library name, telephone number and account number, if available. Once you have been provided with a User ID and a password, a new world of selection and ordering will be available to you and your library. Using your browser, go directly to www.bibz.com to begin this new collection development experience.

Yes. Brodart's 1stPick.com is an online collection development and ordering tool especially designed to meet the needs of schools and school librarians. Once a User ID and password have been assigned, go to www.1stPick.com to experience Brodart's special commitment to school libraries.

Are full text reviews available on BIBZ? If so, how do I view full text reviews?
Full text reviews can be accessed by simply clicking on the red icon next to the title. A pop-up box will provide full text information. Full text reviews that are available include: Booklist, BookPage, Book Report, Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books, Horn Book, Kirkus, KLIATT, Library Journal, Library Media Connection, Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, Science Books and Film, and VOYA.

Will I see discounted prices on BIBZ?
All prices shown on BIBZ are the publisher's list price. However, if you are a TIPS subscriber, you can receive discounted prices on the paper lists.

How can I tell if I've previously ordered any of the titles on my current list?
All orders submitted through BIBZ will automatically be added to your history. Additionally, any preorder list that you've chosen to "add to history" will be included in your history. Before submitting the preorder, click on "Check History" and you will see a list of titles that you have previously ordered through BIBZ or "added to history". At this point, if necessary, you can edit your preorder before submission.

Once I have completed a Custom Search, can I save it to use at a later time?
Once a Custom Search has been done, you can save your search template for use over and over again. After submitting the custom search, at the bottom of the results page there is a location to name and describe your search. Your saved searches will appear on the Custom Search Options page and it is from here that you can use the existing criteria.
