Optional Starter Points
If your library does not have a current selection of audio books for your patrons, you may want to take advantage of the Starter Points option. When you establish your plan, you may purchase additional points at a discount and use these points at any time during your subscription to obtain additional audio books for your library.
Selection Lists
You will select audio books from the best new releases by today's most popular authors. Each month our professional staff examines hundreds of soon-to-be-published titles and monitors reviews of audio books in The New York Times, Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews, Booklist and Publishers Weekly to ensure that selections will be the high-demand titles your patrons continually request.

Free Range Ratio - Our lease and purchase plans give you total control over your selection ratios.
With AudioBound's flexible point plan, you choose whether or not the abridged or unabridged, cassette or CD selection is right for your listeners. Based on the retail price of the audio books, you will use a corresponding number of points from your plan for each selection.
Audio Books Arrive Ready to Circulate
Electronic Cataloging Available at No Additional Charge - We offer a variety of cataloging options. You can choose from our standard cataloging, or from the options available within your cataloging type. Full cataloging records in U.S. MARC or MICROLIF format are available for your selections complete with optional item records for the most popular library management systems. We can offer a generic cataloging record for each selection on the AudioBound monthly list, or the library can choose to get records and bar codes for the titles they actually order. Records may be supplied via FTP download or on diskette.
Packaging and Processing - All packaging and processing is included in the cost of your AudioBound Plan. Each audio book will arrive repackaged in a durable white heavy-gauge vinyl case with re-scanned and re-sized artwork inserted into the packaging. A property label, identifying both your library and the audio book as part of your McNaughton AudioBound Plan will be attached to the vinyl case.
Processing includes a customized spine label and either optional electronic U.S. MARC or MicroLIF records plus an applied barcode with label protector or loose catalog cards and circulation kit-produced according to your specifications.

Guaranteed Pricing
Subscription pricing protects you from the rising cost of new audio books for an entire year. Shipping to and from your library, standard cataloging, processing, and electronic records are included at no extra charge. Save an additional 2% with convenient annual prepayment. Monthly, quarterly and semi-annual invoicing options are also available.
Replacement Policy
McNaughton will replace any defective or damaged tapes, CDs, and cases for up to 12 months at no cost to you.
Management Reports Options
Each month you will receive a management report listing:
Previous month's usage of your point allowance
Points available for ordering this month
Lease customers also receive their current inventory level
For larger library systems, a consolidated report is available showing activity
for each participating branch or school in the system.
