AR/RC
Brodart recognizes the difficulty that teachers and librarians have in motivating children to read. Accelerated Reader and Reading Counts! are effective ways to motivate students to read engaging books. Brodart offers the books that are listed in the Accelerated Reader program and the Reading Counts! program.
School Library Customers can search our database of Accelerated Reader & Reading Counts! titles by visiting Brodart's school focused database at www.1stPick.com. Search your Accelerated Reader or Reading Counts titles by favorite author, book title, grade range and book bind. To narrow your search even more, use our advanced search tools to seek out Dewey, series, publisher and more.
When more than one binding is available our search engine will list all the available bindings giving you the option to purchase the type of material that best fits your budget. Each entry indicates Brodart's book number, title, author, grade range and list price.
Accelerated Reader
With Accelerated Reader you are able to match Brodart books to individual quiz titles and titles sets, receive full cataloging and processing and process your books using Accelerated Reader reading levels and points.
Scholastic Reading Counts!
With Scholastic Reading Counts! You will be able to match Brodart books to quiz collections and individual titles, receive full cataloging and processing and process your books with Reading Counts! reading levels, lexile levels and points.
Duralam/Duraguard Binding Services and AR/RC
All Paperback AR/RC books ordered through Brodart can be easily reinforced or converted to hardcover requesting our affordable bindings. Protecting your AR/RC paperbacks will not delay your order because Brodart's bindery is in house. Your paperbacks are processed and shipped with the rest of your books.
Reading Management Labels
Brodart offers the books that are listed in the Accelerated Reader® and Scholastic Reading Counts!TM programs.
Accelerated Reader Labels - Accelerated Reader spine labels are clearly marked with AR and provide information on both AR reading level and points. The title label includes title, author, reading level, point value, and AR quiz number. Spine and title label placement is based on your library specifications.
Scholastic Reading Counts! Labels - Reading Counts spine labels display a RC on top and list the Reading Counts reading level, points value, and Lexile level. Title label information includes: title, author, reading level, point value, and Lexile value. Reading Counts is displayed on the bottom of the label.
