Special Projects
Whether you are upgrading your library or need to spend grant funds on a special subject or Dewey area, we will help you with your collection development and make sure your project succeeds. Our special projects department is dedicated to accounts that have unique specifications requiring manual intervention or extreme time frames in which funds need to be spent.
Deadlines to have grants or special funds spent can take valuable time. Contact us with the details and we will create lists that will meet the criteria specified. Once you have placed your orders, our customer service staff will be able to tell you how much money has been spent, how much is on order, and the remaining balance. In addition, you will be notified when this amount is expended. You are also notified if more titles are needed to complete the order.
Collection Builder
Brodart’s Special Project department offers valuable services that will save you time and money when expanding a current collection. Collection Builder uses a systematic approach to collection development, which will help you review, select and order the best titles for your library.
Collection Builder's flexible format provides customized lists for every library's individual specifications. Selection lists cover all age levels and subject areas and can be tightly focused or cover an entire collection. They can include retrospective and/or current titles, and can be based on authoritative recommendation and/or popularity. Our database of over 2.3 million titles is updated daily with status and price information. That way you can be assured of a maximum fill rate and few cancellations.
